Our collaboration with Friends of a Farmer
In autumn 2024, we joined hands with Friends of a Farmer, celebrating the generous pulse of summer on their farm in Meco.
When the fields overflowed with more than could be eaten, we turned to the old ways of keeping: salting, fermenting, and transforming. From their fiery chillies came hot sauces with a sunlit kick; from the earth’s roots, beetroot, radish, and kohlrabi, came bright, tangy pickles. And from their full-grown pumpkins, a sweet young miso was born.
A small tribute to the abundance of a season, and to the craft of making nothing go to waste.
